Some rebound relationships in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise worked out for the better, but other rebound hookups ended up being total disasters.
As the 90 Day Fiancé franchise has expanded, it has aired several of the worst rebound relationships between newly single cast members. The show initially focused on the K-1 visa process for international couples in love. However, breakups and divorces led to some 90 Day Fiancé franchise stars rebounding with the wrong people.
The 90 Day Fiancé franchise has exploded in popularity over the last eight years and created many infamous and well-like stars. Many fans have been eager to keep up with some of the featured romances after couples tied the knot. This led to 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? a popular franchise spin-off show that chronicles how couples navigate married life. Long-time viewers have seen everything from couples meeting for the first time to them getting married, divorced, and eventually looking for love again. Some 90 Day Fiancé stars have looked for love elsewhere on Happily Ever After, while others have tried their luck at dating on 90 Day: The Single Life. While some cast members found lasting love after heartbreak, others made bad decisions when it came to rebound romances.
Brazilian bombshell Larissa Lima does not know how to pick her romantic partners. Larissa's short-lived marriage to Colt Johnson lasted around half a year and resulted in Larissa receiving several domestic violence arrests. Following her divorce from Colt, Larissa moved on with U.S. native Eric Nichols. Though Eric and Larissa remain friends, they had zero romantic chemistry. Many viewers speculated that Larissa and Eric were only pretending to date to continue her time on 90 Day Fiancé since they did not have a romantic spark.
While Larissa made a mistake with Eric, 90 Day Fiancé villain Colt Johnson never should have dated Jess Caroline, or rather, Jess should have never allowed herself to be Colt's rebound from Larissa. Colt did not treat Jess well and ended up cheating on her with his now-wife Vanessa Guerra, whom he is currently estranged from. Colt lacked the emotion and passion that both Jess and Larissa craved, which led to both women becoming frustrated with the mama's boy. Colt and Jess's short-lived romance was a disaster that could have been avoided.
Cousin Harris, a relative of Ryan Carr, was entangled in the most perplexing love triangles in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. U.S. native Stephanie Davison shocked viewers when she tried to replace her ex-fiance Ryan with his cousin Harris. She broke up with Ryan and then slept with Harris. Viewers were shocked by Stephanie's behavior, especially after Harris made it clear to the cameramen that he wanted to travel to the U.S. with Stephanie so he could support his partner and children. Rebounding from her fiancé with his cousin was a bad look for the eccentric 90 Day Fiancé personality, who unsurprisingly skipped the season Tell-All to host her own informal online chat.
